The SourceBook is a “User’s Manual for the Engaged Citizen”—a broad overview of the most important issues and aspects of sustainability, from the global to the personal, with an emphasis on solutions and actions to take.

It is intentionally a concise publication (96 pages) and graphically rich, so that it is an attractive and easy read by a broad demographic, not just those already into sustainability. It fills a unique and important niche—taking the plethora of information and synthesizing it into a very accessible volume.

A new open source web portal into “all things sustainable” will accompany the book launch. The site will be wiki and user-updated, and will be updated on a continuous basis. The online pdf version of the SourceBook will be available free of charge; it will have active links to videos, articles and websites, and have a searchable index for information and resources.
